A passion for flowers and a keen eye for design meant that floristry was the natural career choice for Shani Hopgood.

Shani was tutored by one of New Zealands most reputable florists in Invercargill, before working in Christchurch and Wellington, where she gathered invaluable experience working in a floral studio that provided arrangements weekly for corporate offices, hotels, music video sets, TV sets, large functions and celebrity weddings.

Shani spent over five years developing the "Ambrosia concept" and experimenting with design ideas before returning to Invercargill and opening Ambrosia Designer Florist in 2007.

Ambrosia is a truly unique concept redefining floristry as we know it, with Shani and her team employing the latest techniques to create and provide intricate, cutting edge floral designs to suit their clients' individual requirements and a warm, friendly environment in the Ambrosia studio.
